Überrito Continues Growth in Southwest - Newest Houston Location Reflects Fresh Menu and Restaurant Design
HOUSTON (April 26, 2016) (PRWEB) April 26, 2016 -- Überrito today announced the opening of its fourth Houston location as part of a continued rebranding campaign that includes an expanded menu, new interior design concept and markets beyond Houston.
The new restaurant, located at 7705 Westheimer Road, will kick-off grand opening festivities on Cinco de Mayo, Thursday, May 5 with tastings, $5 burritos and bowls from 11-2 p.m. and buy one get one free burritos, bowls and nachos from 4-8 p.m.
Customers at all four Houston-area restaurants locations will join in on the celebration with a chance to win food items and even complimentary burritos for an entire year by playing Überrito’s roll-to-win game. Registered Überrito loyalty card participants can earn double points all week as well.
Additionally, 10 percent of sales from all Überrito locations from May 5 – May 13 will be donated to Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana to fund the wish of a local child with a life-threatening medical condition.
“We are excited to bring our expanded menu and newest interior design to the Houston community. Our name translates to above and beyond your basic burrito, and we feel that’s exactly what we are offering our customers with our new dining experience,” said Marcus Jundt, CEO of Überrito. “Our standing belief is that food – even when served fast – should be fresh and thoroughly enjoyed. This holds true for our restaurant design strategy as well. Our modern, vibrant atmosphere offers our customers an enjoyable space for lunch or dinner.”
Überrito continues to offer the food that made Mission Burrito a Houston favorite by providing unlimited combinations with eight different proteins, 28 fillings, eight house-made salsas, and four flavors of fresh tortillas. Customers wishing to go tortilla free may opt for a bowl or salad, or go for nachos layered in queso. The menu also includes “10 Tasty Tacos” or house-made tortilla soup.
Founded in Houston in 1996 as Mission Burrito, Überrito’s Westheimer location reflects the restaurants transition to a modern décor and theme. The company changed its name from Mission Burrito in December 2014 as part of a multi-faceted rebranding campaign. Today’s announcement is a continuation of that campaign.
Überrito's additional Houston-area locations include: 1609 Durham, south of I-10, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. in Katy, and 7025 FM 1960 East in Atascocita. A location at the Baybrook Mall in Friendswood, Texas will open later this year.
The company also expanded outside of Texas recently with the opening of a location in Scottsdale, Arizona in March 2016.
