Connecting Miami to the World through Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology.

Engel & Völkers Miami engaged with buyers, entrepreneurs and investors from the Americas and the rest of the world at the eMerge Americas Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurial conference on Miami Beach which took place on Monday, April 18th and Tuesday, April 19th.

Irving Padron and team partnered with eMerge Americas as a Silver Sponsor to share information on the Engel & Völkers brand, history, and real estate services to fellow vendors, trade show visitors and curious real estate professionals.

Technology’s impact on Miami is a passion point for Engel & Völkers Miami License Partner and CEO, Irving Padron. As former CFO of Terremark, he knows firsthand what can happen when technology and real estate come together. Terremark, a real estate based company founded by eMerge Americas founder Manuel “Manny” Medina, was bought out by Verizon Communications at the tune of $1.4 billion.

As a leading luxury real estate brokerage firm, Engel & Völkers Miami finds innovative ways to serve their advisors and clientele by strategically connecting them with technology, innovative capital sources and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The event also had keynote speakers such as Manuel D. Medina, Founder & Chairman of eMerge Americas, Marc Randolph, co-founder of NETFLIX, Bob Greifeld, CEO of NASDAQ, and many more. Industries at the event this year were Innovate, Mega, Health, EDTech, Finance, and Country Pavilions. Should we include Collin Powell, Monica Lewinski, & recording artist Pitbull.

“The tech industry’s growth and the real estate market are intrinsically connected,” said Irving Padron, who recently acquired Engel and Völkers Miami’s license. “A vibrant tech industry is vital for a growing city like Miami because it fires the economy and diversifies South Florida’s real estate market.”

The Engel & Völkers brand stands behind its core competencies of exclusivity, competence, and passion. The networking and learning opportunities at eMerge Americas supported the reliability, drive and innovation of Engel & Völkers real estate advisors

If you missed an opportunity to network with trendsetters, eMerge Americas will be back next year June 12-13, 2017. Don’t forget to stop by and say hello to the Engel & Völkers Miami team.
