Phoenix Urgent Care Centers Announces "The Next Future in Healthcare Delivery"
Aventura, Florida (PRWEB) April 26, 2016 -- Phoenix Urgent Care Centers, LLC has announced the formation of the Phoenix Urgent Care Centers real estate group, which will develop medical office buildings throughout Florida. The company intends to build urgent care centers in urban areas where there is presently a scarcity of comprehensive medical office facilities for healthcare providers. These new facilities are regarded as “The Next Future in Healthcare Delivery.”
Branden L. Strickland, Javier J. Rodriguez, and Roberto E DeLegault will be the operating members of the new development group. Mr. Rodriguez indicated that the development group will pursue a strategic growth model that will enable Phoenix Urgent Care Centers to deliver at least three medical office buildings per year. A total of 15 different markets have been identified for development in Florida.
Urgent care centers focus on acute episodic care with a substantial emphasis on patient service. Phoenix Urgent Care Centers will emphasize walk-in or unscheduled care, extended evening and weekend hours, and provide an expanded array of services compared to a typical primary care office. These expanded services will include on-site radiology, substantial point of care diagnostic testing, the ability to repair lacerations and provide intravenous fluids, services which many primary care offices would normally refer to a hospital emergency department.
Each project encompasses three stories of tilt-up concrete construction, high speed elevators, high speed Internet and intranet technology, advanced security systems, medical waste management systems, standby generators for emergencies, 7/24 monitoring, on site security and 7/24 professional property management.
Ms. Strickland revealed that the company intends to work with private equity investors, and that the development of these state-of-the-art medical office condominium buildings will include: an Urgent Care Center, an Orthopedic Urgent Care Center, a Diagnostic Center, a Dialysis Center, a Pharmacy and two stories of medical office condominium units for those physicians who wish to purchase their own office space. She also mentioned that Phoenix seeks to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for its partners through investments in the development of high quality medical office properties.
Roberto E. DeLegault announced that the site selection process has already started and that the first three sites will be located in and around Miramar, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, Florida. Negotiations have been initiated with land owners in these markets and land acquisition should take no more than 90 to 120 days.
