GE Oil & Gas, Waukesha-Pearce Industries, TIW Canada Ltd. expand land-drilling partnership to US shale regions and Canada. As a certified GE distributor, WPI/TIW will sell, maintain and repair GE’s line of Hydril pressure control products including Blowout Preventers (BOPs), pulsation dampeners and valves.

Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI) and TIW Canada Ltd., distributors of Blowout Preventers (BOP) and drilling system technologies in the US and Canada, announce an expanded partnership with GE Oil & Gas to sell, maintain, and repair GE’s line of Hydril pressure control products. WPI will represent GE’s line of Hydril pressure control products, including blowout preventers, pulsation dampeners, and valves, in the U.S. shale regions, and TIW will represent the product line in Canada. WPI and TIW are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Pearce Industries. This expands the companies’ strategic partnership that launched on the west coast in 2015.

“Now is the time to increase commitment to our domestic, land-based customers,” said Mitch Williams, Commercial Leader for GE Oil & Gas drilling systems products. “When the market is down, performance and partnership are pivotal to our customers’ success. By bringing high-quality GE Oil & Gas products and qualified WPI/TIW services closer to our customers, we are improving speed to market and investing in the future of land drilling operations. WPI and TIW have always focused on long-term customer relationships, so this strategic partnership is a perfect fit.”

“Since early 2015, WPI and TIW have been working hard to build-out our product and service infrastructure across the entire U.S. and Canada,” said Fred Stow, Director of Business Development for WPI. “This partnership expansion with GE Oil & Gas will leverage that broader platform and allow us to better serve our customers in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.”
