Teneise A. Chandler’s new book, A Virtuous Woman, ($10.99, paperback, 9781498464192; $5.99, e-book, 9781498464208) provides strength and encouragement by showing how relevant the Old Testament passage of the "Virtuous Woman" is today. The book provides practical ways for women to apply this scripture to everyday life and to know that it is possible to live out God's Word. She believes that many people tend to think that the Old Testament does not apply to today’s world. Teneise stresses the very opposite of that opinion – that the Old Testament is part of the foundation that makes each person who he or she is in Christ. Her book helps to give understanding to scriptures that have been repeatedly read but not given much thought. She enables readers to digest the information thoroughly and make it applicable to their daily life.
“It is my hope that readers will be inspired by my book to live a virtuous life,” states the author. “I want the reader to take a fresh look at their current situation and give God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit the proper place in her life. Apply the Word of God and live a life of virtue.”
