Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 26, 2016 -- Powerhouse Dynamics, creator of the award-winning SiteSage® enterprise asset and energy management system, today announced a significant expansion of its mobile application, with new work flow and task management capabilities that provide the ability to manage a wide range of business operational processes. Powerhouse Dynamics has combined this expanded functionality with an integrated Bluetooth temperature probe and SiteSage’s fixed sensor network to significantly broaden the food safety functionality available through the SiteSage Smart Kitchen module. With labor costs rising, regulations changing, and food safety increasingly on the minds of customers, most food service businesses are seeking better tools to manage food safety and replace error-prone manual processes.
This new release of SiteSage Smart Kitchen enables full automation and digitization of the “HACCP” (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) reporting process. It supports customizable daily HACCP tasks, along with corrective actions, thresholds, and protocols. These tasks span manual temperature measurements as well as non-temperature related HACCP “check-list” items, and are fully integrated with the SiteSage fixed sensor network as well as its alerting and notification engine. The network includes both sensors installed in equipment onsite and sensors embedded in equipment from a growing list of manufacturers that are factory integrating SiteSage. All tasks and associated corrective actions are tracked in real-time on any mobile device and easily accessible online. Compliance trends and potential risks can be tracked using enterprise exception reporting that allows Food Safety leaders to be assured their organizations are meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations.
