The San Diego Labor Lawyers at Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik File Lawsuit Against Networked Insurance Agents For Alleged Failure To Pay Overtime To Account Managers
Orange, California (PRWEB) April 25, 2016 -- The San Diego employment law lawyers at Blumenthal, Nordrehaug & Bhowmik filed a class action against Networked Insurance Agents LLC for allegedly failing to pay their Account Managers overtime wages. The Networked Insurance Agents lawsuit, Case No. 30-2016-00843587-CU-OE-CXC is currently pending in the Orange County Superior Court for the State of California.
The class action complaint alleges that under the California Labor Code, Networked Insurance Agents is required to pay all persons employed in the job position of Account Manager overtime wages for their time worked in excess of eight hours in a workday and hours worked in excess of forty hours in any workweek. The lawsuit further claims that the Account Managers employed by Networked Insurance Agents are "managers in name only" and that the insurance company allegedly misclassified the Account Managers because these employees failed to meet all the criteria under any of the exemptions to overtime pay in California. As a result, the Complaint requests that these employees should be paid for all the overtime hours they have worked for Networked Insurance Agents.
