DoubleDutch, the global leading provider of mobile event apps and event performance analytics, today announced that it has been named a winner in the Mobile App category of the San Francisco Business Times’ 2016 Tech & Innovation Awards.
DoubleDutch was honored with the award by a panel of judges made up of previous Tech & Innovation award winners, leaders in Bay Area technology innovation and the San Francisco Business Times’ editorial team. Judges carefully selected companies that have revolutionized their spaces or experienced significant growth. Judges also considered how well nominees stood out against the competition.
“A few years ago, we set out to reinvent the $565 billion events industry and apply the power of mobile and digital to live events,” said Lawrence Coburn, CEO of DoubleDutch. “Being named a winner in the Mobile App category by the San Francisco Business Times Tech & Innovation Awards is a testament to this mission. We look forward to delivering a continued stream of innovations that facilitate and deepen attendee engagement at live events.”
DoubleDutch continues to empower event organizers, exhibitors, and attendees to identify, meet and connect with the right people to enrich the value of live events. With the recent release of direct messaging, topic channels, session channels and attendee meeting scheduling capabilities, DoubleDutch continues to close the gap in moving digital interactions to in-person discussions that deepen event engagement.
The annual Tech & Innovation Awards reception will be held at the Westin St. Francis Imperial Ballroom on May 24th in San Francisco.
