Collaboration Will Dramatically Expand Forwarding and Logistics Services Globally

This expansion of our services with Necotrans underscores the important role the two companies have in the global forwarding and logistics industry.

JAS Worldwide (JAS) and Necotrans Holding (Necotrans) today announced they are launching a worldwide logistics alliance, effective 15th April 2016.

Under the alliance agreement, JAS and Necotrans will provide freight and logistics services on all continents. Both companies will represent each other exclusively in their respective territories.

Necotrans employs 5000 staff and has an annual turnover of USD 1.2 Billion. Necotrans is a leading service provider for the Oil & Gas industry and the Mining sector in Africa, operating oil supply bases, bulk and multipurpose port terminals and offering husbandry, freight, and logistics services in 25 African countries, Brazil, and Thailand.

JAS, with its workforce of 4000 and an annual turnover of USD 1.4 Billion, specializes in international Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding Services and provides dedicated logistics services to the EPC Projects, Oil & Gas, and Mining sector.

The focus of the alliance will be on the development of freight and logistics services to, from, and inside Africa. Customers will benefit from the combination of JAS’ global freight network and the African footprint of Necotrans.
