Global Online Private School Opens Enrollment for 2016-17 School Year
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) April 29, 2016 -- International Connections Academy (iNaCA), the U.S.-based accredited, college preparatory virtual private school for students in grades K-12 across the globe, is now enrolling new students for the 2016-17 academic year.
Virtual school appeals to all types of students and families are choosing full-time and individual courses at iNaCA for a variety of reasons. According to the 2015 Parent Satisfaction Survey, a third- party survey of parents whose students are enrolled at the academy:
- 95% of parents are satisfied with the helpfulness of teachers
- 98% of parents agree that the curriculum is high quality
- 96% of parents agree that their children are satisfied with the program
- 92% of parents are satisfied with the variety of learning activities
- 94% of parents agree that the technology tools improve their child’s learning experience
- 95% of parents would recommend the school to other families
“Our experiece at iNaCA has been more wonderful than we ever could have imagined,” said iNaCA parent Jennifer Smith from Gulf Breeze, Florida. “My child’s teachers are outstanding, and he enjoys the flexibility of the schedule because it allows him to spend time on other interests.”
International Connections Academy students learn from home, or anywhere there is an Internet connection, and work with teachers who are licensed and specially trained in online instruction. Students in grades K–12 can enroll full-time or individual courses—choosing to take one class or all of their classes—depending on their scheduling needs. Experienced school counselors guide students who live around the world through the college application process, leading to acceptances at exceptional U.S.-based colleges and universities such as Brown University and Yale University, among many others.
The International Connections Academy Class of 2015 included 81 graduates from 28 states and seven countries, who were accepted into more than 100 different colleges and universities—earning more than $2.7 million in scholarships. In addition, 100% of the senior class graduated in 2015—and of those that applied to college, 100% were accepted. Learn more about the graduating class in the infographic: iNaCA Class of 2015.
“Our teachers, staff, and returning families look forward to welcoming new students for the 2016-17 school year, and encourage interested families to begin the enrollment process as soon as possible,” said Hannah Rinehart, iNaCA’s Director of School. “They will join an international network of students who benefit from the school’s personalized learning, high-quality U.S. curriculum, state-of-the-art technology, certified teachers, secure easy-to-use online learning system—and the ability to collaborate and socialize with other students in a truly global classroom.”
All courses at International Connections Academy use Connections Education’s research-based, award-winning curriculum. iNaCA students may tailor their schedules to accommodate exam preparation and applications, and take advantage of innovative electives and programs like Career Technical Education (CTE), world language and AP courses. Students may also concurrently earn both a high school diploma and an American Public University (APU) associate’s degree in four years, or earn college credits toward a bachelor's degree through University of Maryland University College or DeVry University via the College Acceleration Program. iNaCA’s Class of 2015 included three iNaCA/APU dual-enrollment graduates.
iNaCA will launch online information sessions this month for students and parents who want to learn more about the school. Families are invited to attend an online information session to explore the program and curriculum, learn more about the benefits of virtual education, and to determine if online private school is the best fit for their student. Families that enroll before July 31, 2016, will receive a five percent Early Enrollment discount.
