Chakrabarti Management Consultancy Inc. (CMCI) announced today that it has acquired Alexandria, Virginia based LA Systems Inc. LA Systems has been providing modernization and support services to the government and private sector since 1982. LA Systems specializes in enterprise modernization, system conversion, configuration, software development, systems design, training, maintenance, hardware and software installation, and contract and program support and management. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Pulak Chakrabarti, President and CEO, of CMCI said, "This acquisition expands CMCI’s service offerings to include network engineering, security, storage management, hardware installation, and software installation. It also reinforces CMCI’s capabilities in cloud computing, legacy modernization, and infrastructure modernization."
