“Today is an important day for us, as we continue to expand our reach and reinforce our commitment to the community”, said Jacqueline Dascal Chariff, Chairman of Continental National Bank.

Continental National Bank, Miami’s premier community source for financial services for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs, inaugurated its new state-of-the-art location in City of Doral with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Thursday, April 21st. Over 200 distinguished guests attended the event, including various representatives from the City of Doral Chamber of Commerce, the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce and the Honorable City of Doral Mayor, Luigi Boria.

Located at 5241 NW 87th Ave., the new Doral Branch is the latest addition to Continental National Bank’s network of convenient banking locations in Miami-Dade County. Established in 1974 as the first Cuban-American-chartered national bank in the U.S., Continental started off as a single branch in Little Havana and has gradually grown to operate seven full-service locations within the county. With almost $450 million in assets and a five-star “superior” rating by Bauer Financial, the bank has provided trusted financial assistance to thousands of clients, and pledges to deliver the same world-class service to the City of Doral.

“Today is an important day for us, as we continue to expand our reach and reinforce our commitment to the community”, said Jacqueline Dascal Chariff, Chairman of Continental National Bank. “It’s also a celebration – we’re so proud of all we have accomplished and look forward to continuing to grow with the same level of dedication that has defined us for over four decades.”

Event attendees enjoyed live music and cocktails at the branch’s spacious contemporary lounging area, as well as a captivating exotic car exhibit courtesy of South Motors. They also had the opportunity to tour the new facility, which aside from featuring cutting-edge service infrastructure, also promises to delight guests with personalized attention and access to deluxe amenities, such as complimentary gourmet coffee and snacks.

Throughout its 42 years of service, Continental National Bank has supported many important local causes, placing special emphasis in safeguarding a prosperous future for the leaders of tomorrow. The Bank is currently an active sponsor and supporter of the non-profit organization Amigos for Kids.
Last year, Continental also launched its GROW Entrepreneurship Program, an intensive business education initiative developed in collaboration with Florida International University. To date, it has provided access to key educational and networking resources to 23 local business. A third session of the program is scheduled to launch in May.
