Russ Crosson Speaks at Truth@Work, Fellowship Bible Church, Grand Rapids First Church and Young Business Leaders Conference
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 02, 2016 -- Russ Crosson, CEO and President of Ronald Blue & Co., was on the speaker circuit for the month of April, appearing as the featured speaker at a workshop series hosted by Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA on April 10, at a Truth@Work event in Indianapolis, IN on April 19, at a devotion with Grand Rapids First Church in Grand Rapids, MI on April 21, and at the Young Business Leaders Conference in Cincinnati, OH on April 22.
The workshop at Fellowship Bible Church was entitled “Execution.” Russ spoke on leadership and qualities that make good leaders and followers. He also spoke about the personal opportunities and challenges that he has faced as a leader over his 35-year career and referenced personal stories from his recently published book, What Makes a Leader Great.
Truth@Work is one of America’s leading and fastest growing marketplace ministries. Since 1998, they have developed products, programs, and services to serve thousands of Christian business and marketplace leaders. The event at Truth@Work was entitled, “Financial Conversations Every Couple Should Have.” Russ was joined by his wife, Julie, to provide practical takeaways and action steps to some of the most common concerns couples have about money: transferring wealth to children, best practices for philanthropic giving, 5 Uses of Money, important questions couples should be asking each other, key questions couples should be asking their financial advisors, and how to enhance a couple’s “financial intimacy.” Russ and Julie have lead seminars around the country on the subjects of money, marriage and communication.
The devotion at Grand Rapids First Church was focused on “Your Life Well Spent,” a talk about finding balance with your life by creating financial, social and spiritual capital. Many of the lessons that Russ spoke about came from his book of the same title, Your Life Well Spent, where he writes about how to model a biblical attitude toward money for your children, investing in your posterity and using discernment when giving financial help to children, learning to wait for the material things you want now, and including God in your financial planning.
At the Young Business Leaders conference in Cincinnati, Russ spoke to entrepreneurs and business leaders across the state, on leadership and referenced personal stories from his leadership book. The mission of Young Business Leaders Cincinnati is to build an interdenominational movement of men who will lead men to faith in Christ, training them in how to be biblical men, spiritual influencers, and leaders in their homes, businesses and churches.
At all four venues, Russ’ books were made available to attendees: What Makes a Leader Great, The Truth About Money Lies, Your Life Well Spent, and 8 Important Money Decisions for Every Couple.
