Gives ISVs and ISOs a choice of certified EMV Devices supported on multiple First Data Processing Platforms.

AnywhereCommerce, a global payments solutions provider, announced that its Walker™ chip-and-signature and Nomad™ chip-and-PIN EMVCo-certified payment acceptance devices have achieved end-to-end certification with the First Data Rapid Connect program, providing EMV-certified processing on First Data’s authorization and settlement platforms.

AnywhereCommerce is among the first payment acceptance technology providers to achieve full EMV certification for mobile payment solutions, which will help acquirers, ISOs and ISVs transition merchants to EMV. The certification covers the full spectrum of AnywhereCommerce’s mSuite solution set, including: card readers, an mPOS payment application, SDKs and integration tools, and a robust gateway and management system, providing businesses with everything needed to quickly and easily integrate EMV into mobile and tablet POS solutions.

“Certifying the Walker and Nomad devices with First Data results in a robust EMV mobile solution,” said William Nichols, president and chief executive officer for AnywhereCommerce. “EMV complicates the certification process, and that’s where our expertise and end-to-end product portfolio combine to deliver ISOs, ISVs and merchants a smooth transition to chip acceptance.”

As a certified partner with FDC Rapid Connect, AnywhereCommerce empowers developers to easily incorporate certified EMV and P2PE payment functionality into any mPOS application via the company’s CorePay SDK, which significantly reduces the complexities related to Level 3 EMV certification. ISOs, ISVs and VARs can quickly integrate the Walker or Nomad devices into their mPOS products and immediately offer a robust end-to-end certified solution connected to First Data. The Nomad is the industry’s first EMV-certified PCI-validated mobile device that supports point-to-point encryption (P2PE).

The mSuite solution includes the Walker chip-and-signature device that employs AnywhereCommerce’s patented audio jack connectivity as well as the Nomad chip-and-PIN device that uses Bluetooth to communicate. AnywhereCommerce’s CorePay SDK features a drag-and-drop integration tool that supports all major operating systems and mobile platforms. It includes robust libraries that provide developers with everything needed to get up and running with a certified EMV mPOS solution. A robust management platform provides gateway connectivity as well as back-end support for boarding, billing and reporting.
