Liza Shtromberg embodies modern multiculturalism. Born in Moscow and raised in both Russia and a small port town in Israel, she relocated to Los Angeles with her family at age 16. As a trilingual child, she began experimenting with jewelry design as a form of self-expression. Her father is an accomplished stonecutter and cameo designer who owned a jewelry gallery in the older quarter of Jaffo, Israel. There, she helped him by creating wax molds for fine jewelry castings.
As a teenager, Shtromberg did wirework pieces, stringing native Indian peyote beads and crystals and selling her designs on the streets of Los Angeles and local crafts fairs. From there, she slowly worked her way up to selling her collection to galleries and specialty retails all over the US and then opening her flagship shop in Los Feliz. Shtromberg has become known for various collections and specializing in unique, noncommercial and custom engagement and wedding rings. Her work has been featured in various films and fashions magazines, worn by icons such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Demi Lovato, Blake Lively, Sandra Bullock and Naomi Watts.
