With 7tag, marketers and web analysts can effortlessly create, deploy, and manage tags across their websites and apps from one dashboard. Now, 7tag supports synchronous tags and tag templates for the most popular A/B testing tools including Optimizely and Visual Web Optimizer.

These updates to 7tag are significant, as Google Tag Manager does not currently support synchronous tag integration with Optimizely, Visual Web Optimizer and other widely used A/B testing tools - a feature in high demand amongst performance marketers and web analysts today. Trying to integrate A/B testing through Google Tag Manager using asynchronous tags will cause an effect where the original page briefly flashes before the variation loads, which can affect the end result of each A/B test.

7tag’s new synchronous tags and A/B testing capability will also support tools for content personalization, product recommendations, or tags that require multiple snippets in different locations of the page. This includes most analytics and marketing tags beyond a basic implementation.
