Partnership between Field59, Inc. and Calkins Digital creates opportunities for broadcasters, newspapers, and premium content creators to publish content on Over-The-Top video devices.

Field59 (, a premier online video management system for live streaming and video-on-demand solutions, today announced a preferred partnership with Calkins Digital (, a start-to-finish Over-The-Top (OTT) solution for media companies, organizations and brands.

The partnership allows Field59 and Calkins Digital premium content customers to distribute, curate and monetize their identity on OTT devices such as Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

Field59 and Calkins Digital customer, WWSB ABC 7 in Sarasota, FL (, is currently using Field59’s video platform to deliver live streams of multiple shows to various OTT channels, while Schurz Communications ( recently signed a deal for a sports-oriented OTT video app built by Calkins Digital and powered by Field59.

Increasingly, media companies are looking for ways to remain relevant in the age of online video streaming, and delivering video to OTT devices provides a way to be where audiences are watching.

The majority of internet connected homes will access video content via connected TV/OTT devices, and video consumption on these devices will be seeing a large spike in growth over the next year. In particular, long-form content and like-live video will make up the majority of this growth.
