RiseSmart, the leading provider of contemporary career transition services, today announced the appointment of Ian Dawson as chief sales officer (CSO). Dawson will lead the company’s sales efforts and leverage Randstad’s network and global footprint.
Dawson joins RiseSmart from parent company Randstad, where he most recently served as senior vice president of Global Solutions for Randstad Sourceright’s recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) practice. Dawson has been a part of the Randstad team for the past 10 years and holds more than 25 years of experience in sales and human resources-related outsourcing. At Randstad Sourceright, he was responsible for the sale and design of some of the group's largest, most complex RPO deals, including global engagements.
“Ian is a dynamic leader with an extraordinary track record of driving sales excellence and growing Randstad’s RPO business, making him a natural fit for RiseSmart,” said Sanjay Sathé, RiseSmart founder and CEO. “This is an exciting inflection point for RiseSmart and great opportunity for Ian, who can harness the strengths and synergies of Randstad to drive our growth to the next level as we expand globally.”
A global executive with multinational experience, Dawson was a senior vice president with Aon Consulting earlier in his career. He joined Spherion (SFN Group) in 2005 and held a number of sales leadership positions until Randstad acquired Spherion in 2011. There he served as a member of the executive committee and oversaw the new business growth of the vibrant RPO business.
“I am very excited to join such an innovative and dynamic team. They have done an impressive job growing the business to become one of North America’s fastest-growing technology companies. I look forward to continuing this momentum and capitalizing on the opportunities ahead,” said Dawson.
