Observable Networks, an emerging leader of network security technology and advanced threat detection services, today announced that it has completed a financing round of $2 million with new participation from MK Capital, a venture capital firm that provides multi-stage growth and venture capital to companies in the cloud infrastructure, digital media and software industries.

This new investment will be used to fund the growth of Observable Networks’ sales and marketing team and increase awareness regarding the company’s Dynamic Endpoint Modeling technology and its cloud-based service.

“We wanted to invest in Observable Networks because its endpoint modeling technology leveraged a unique approach to threat detection unlike anything else in the security market,” said Bret Maxwell, managing director of MK Capital. “When you consider Observable’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery model, which doesn’t rely on agents or expensive appliances, it’s a compelling offer for clients and an attractive opportunity for MK Capital.”
