New Signature, announced today that it has acquired the 2014 Microsoft United Kingdom Partner of the Year, Dot Net Solutions. New Signature, the 2014 and 2015 Microsoft US Partner of the Year, is immediately following its acquisition with an investment into Dot Net as the platform upon which to build the leading Microsoft Partner in the U.K. This investment launches a second front of New Signature’s successful strategy of bringing together like minded Microsoft partners to deliver transformative business solutions to companies across all industries and segments.
New Signature will leverage the cutting edge work of Dot Net, in areas like application migration to Azure, application development and business transformation, with our North American customers. The Dot Net acquisition also provides a platform from which to grow an international presence that will benefit New Signature’s customers with multi-national operations.
The U.K. organization will continue to operate as it does today with Paul Cosgrave as Managing Director and Dan Scarfe as Founder and CTO. Paul will report to New Signature CEO, Jeff Tench, who has successfully led the New Signature team through tremendous growth over the past 12 months. New Signature will expand Dot Net’s current markets, pursue strategic acquisitions in Europe, broaden and deepen existing capabilities.
The Dot Net executive team, which will remain intact, look forward to the accelerated growth that New Signature’s funding and operating strength will enable. This investment will immediately fuel Dot Net’s ability to deliver expanded services to their customers, alongside its people and partner recruitment strategy in the UK. “We are excited to be entering the next stage of our growth alongside New Signature and Columbia Capital,” said Scarfe. “Their combined experience of building successful services organizations through organic growth and strategic acquisitions will enable us to scale more quickly and ultimately deliver more breadth and depth to our customers in the U.K.” Cosgrave added, “Dot Net can now accelerate its tremendous growth in the U.K., building on its position of leadership as a combined Microsoft public cloud integrator and managed services provider via a number of specific, targeted acquisitions.”
Dot Net will retain its local U.K. operating model whilst quickly taking advantage of the immediate benefits that New Signature, the 2014 and 2015 Microsoft US Partner of the Year, affords. “Our North American and U.K. teams will partner to share best practices, innovations and expertise to deliver world-class service to our customers,” states Jeff Tench, New Signature CEO. “We plan to keep the existing U.K. business structurally separate but unify under one mission and vision.”
