2016 Georgia Manufacturing Directory Helping to Drive Industry Growth
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) April 30, 2016 -- Finally, one simple solution for two major challenges faced by manufacturers… Over the past eight years members from the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) have toured a variety of manufacturing plants around the state. During these tours, executive leaders often comment that they want to do more to support the local economy, but find it difficult to identify companies in their community who manufacture the goods and services they need. The results of a recent survey of industry leaders indicated that the most important issue facing manufacturers is sales and marketing. Manufacturers are great at making things, but are searching for more effective ways getting their product to market and growing sales.

This desk top membership directory is a list of quality manufacturers and proven service providers in Georgia. These companies are working together through the GMA to develop a network of resources to help grow manufacturing jobs in Georgia.
Manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, economic developers, and general consumers will all use the information provided in this directory. Some will use this as a catalog to identify suppliers and others will use it as a sales tool. Either way, Georgia manufacturers win.
The deadline for membership and display ads for the June 2016 edition is May 17th. Expected print and delivery is mid-June.
2,500 copies of this directory will be printed and 1,000 will be mailed to the top manufacturers in the state. GMA members will receive a copy and will be encouraged to use this as their first option when sourcing suppliers and services.
In 2015 GMA served more than 1,500 guests at the 73 events which were hosted around the state. This directory will be made available during upcoming plant tours, educational sessions and networking sessions. Guests who attend the October 26, 2016 Georgia Manufacturing Summit will receive a copy of this directory as well.
