Digital transformation firm receives platinum award for mobile app

The Security First Mobile app is a mobile solution created to help position Security First Insurance for the future of insurance and attract a new generation of customers. The app includes a unique feature that allows users to track storms, share their map with friends and family, and receive assistance such as evacuation routes and active shelter locations when storms approach. Other features include an Instant Quote tool that calculates potential savings as well as tools for existing customers to make payments, file claims and manage their policies.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that recognizes the outstanding work of creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Of the 6,000 entries submitted, only 15 percent were awarded Platinum, recognizing them as the most outstanding in the competition. This is the second year PointSource has been honored as an award recipient, taking home the Platinum for Finish Line Mobile App and Gold for h.h. gregg Mobile Website in 2015.
