Four advisors from leading broker-dealer ranked among the country’s top financial advisors by Financial Times

This honor is representative of how dedicated our advisors are to their clients and we’re very pleased that they have been recognized for their outstanding efforts.

Royal Alliance today congratulated four advisors for their recognition on the Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisers list. The advisors named to the list include Kevin Myeroff, CPA, CFP®, Michael Genovese, CFP®, Lon Burford, CFP®, AIF®, and Patricia Brennan, CFP®.

Genovese and Burford are both financial advisors and founding partners of Genovese Burford & Brothers, founded in 1987 and dedicated to developing customized plans to meet the unique needs of their clients. Genovese and Burford were recognized for the state of California. Myeroff is CEO and president of NCA Financial Planners and was recognized for Ohio. Brennan is the president and CEO of Key Financial, Inc. and was recognized for Pennsylvania on the FT 400.

This is the fourth annual FT 400 list, produced independently by the FT in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of the FT. Nearly 1,000 elite financial advisors applied for consideration, having met minimum requirements for Assets Under Management (AUM) and experience. The advisor applicants were then graded on six criteria: AUM; AUM growth rate; experience; advanced industry credentials; online accessibility; and compliance records.

The “average” advisor in this year’s FT 400 has 26 years’ experience and manages $1.6 billion in assets. The FT 400 advisors hail from 38 states and Washington, D.C.

“We are proud to congratulate our advisors on being named to this year’s Financial Times 400 list,” said Dmitry Goldin, president and CEO of Royal Alliance Associates, Inc. “This honor is representative of how dedicated our advisors are to their clients and we’re very pleased that they have been recognized for their outstanding efforts. Kevin, Michael, Lon and Patricia are all valuable members of the Royal Alliance family and we are grateful to have them affiliated with our platform.”

The FT 400 is one in series of rankings of top advisors that the FT developed in partnership with Ignites Research, including the FT 300 (independent RIA firms) and the FT 401 (DC retirement plan advisers).

The Financial Times 400 Top Financial Advisers is an independent listing produced by the Financial Times (March, 2016). The FT 400 is based on data gathered from firms and verified by broker-dealer home offices, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflects each advisor’s performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, experience, credentials and accessibility as identified by the FT. Neither the brokerages nor the advisors pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 400.

A third party ranking is not a guarantee of future investment success and does not ensure that a client will experience a higher level of performance or results.
