Kevin Haboian joined HNTB Corporation in the new position of chief business development officer and senior vice president, where he will support the firm’s growth within the transportation sector across the United States.

Haboian brings more than 30 years of transportation industry experience leading and growing major lines of business – including highways, bridges, transit and aviation – and serving in key roles on numerous complex public transportation programs. He is based in the firm’s Orange County office in California.
Prior to joining HNTB, Haboian served another consulting firm as senior vice president, business development director and was responsible for business development and strategic teaming for complex transportation project pursuits throughout the Western United States.
His national public works project experience includes the Gerald Desmond Bridge replacement, Long Beach, California; I-15 and Route 91 Express Lanes program management projects, Riverside, California; Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority, Monrovia, California; Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority Gold Line Light Rail Extension; Seattle Waterfront Seawall Replacement; I-405 Express Lanes program management, Orange County, California; the Grand Parkway Design Build, Houston; and the I-70 West Mountain Corridor, Colorado, among many others.
Haboian earned both a Bachelor and Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of California, Irvine. He is a licensed professional engineer in California.
An active member in professional organizations at the state and local level, Haboian’s involvement includes the American Society of Civil Engineers, Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Research Board.
