Communities Nationwide Unite for Spectacular Lantern Release
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 05, 2016 -- The Lantern Fest is just beginning its 2016 tour, but more than 41,000 revelers have already signed for the fourteen locations currently open for registration. Event organizers are thrilled by the festival’s growing popularity and continue to add new locations to their 2016 tour.
“The event is truly spectacular,” said event director Spencer Humiston. “We are excited to share it with new cities this year.”
This year will be the event’s second national tour, but the phenomenon is quickly gaining popularity. The Lantern Fest 2016 schedule includes various new locations including: Pittsburgh, Phoenix, Denver, Saint Louis and Dallas. Twenty-two locations are currently listed on the website and additional locations are added weekly. Event organizers expect more than 95,000 participants to join lantern festivals around the country during this year’s tour.
“My favorite part about this event is how inclusive it is,” said Lantern Fest spokeswoman Amy Gessel. “It is just as fun for a couple celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary as it is for a group of students or children.”
With a stage show, s’mores, live music, food, face painters, princesses, inflatables and more, The Lantern Fest has something for everyone in the hours leading up to the unforgettable Lantern release. When the sun goes down families and friends will paint they sky with their hopes and dreams. This year also brings a new partnership with Enviro-Log, the leading national brand of earth friendly logs. More information on Enviro-Log can be found at http://www.enviro-log.net or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/envirolog.

About The Lantern Fest
Historically, Chinese Lanterns were used to symbolize good fortune, request favorable weather and celebrate the lives of loved ones. In 2014, The Lantern Fest, owned by Sack Lunch Productions Inc. (OTC:SAKL), transformed this ancient tradition into a family-friendly festival with food, music, s’mores and children’s entertainment. When the sun goes down lanterns will paint the sky in a spectacular release. The Lantern Fest is growing rapidly, and now holds events all over the country.
