The Best Workplaces in Health Care Thrive in Tough Times

The report released today, How to Build a Great Workplace in Health Care, analyzes more than 34,000 employee survey responses at 51 health care organizations considered for the list of the 20 Best Workplaces in Health Care, recently published by Great Place to Work(R) and Fortune Magazine.
Among the findings:
- List winners had 15% job growth last year v. 10.7% for non-winners
- List winners had 8.6% percent annual voluntary turnover for full-time employees v. a 14.4% industry average
- Employees at list winners were 10 percent more likely to say "We're all in this together" than at non-winning companies
