Elyctis Introduces the ID BOX One OEM Series, Allowing ID Reading Functions in Any Device
Pertuis, France (PRWEB) May 09, 2016 -- The ID BOX One OEM series readers bring the ability to read all types of ID documents, including ePassports, ID cards, residence permits, driver licenses, etc. Without movement, the user is able to read the MRZ (machine readable zone) and read the data in the ID document chip. The ID BOX One OEM series can be integrated easily in any type of device such as automats, terminals, or kiosks. With the ID BOX One OEM series, Elyctis completes its range of ID-dedicated readers.
The ID BOX One OEM series readers detect the document, read the MRZ (machine readable zone) of the document and use the information to access the chip. The reader supports all ICAO standards and ensures documents are read fast and accurately. This way, the ID BOX One OEM series allows the constructing any type of terminal with a high-performance integrated ID reading function.
The ID BOX One OEM series' typical applications include: tablets, airport check-in kiosks, self-service terminals, mobile ID verification, bank enrollment and verification, car rental, and SIM registration, among others.
Now, the Elyctis ID BOX One range includes product series for all integration levels:
- ID BOX One Desktop series is a standalone ID reader and can be connected to any device with a simple USB connection
- ID BOX One Attach series can be easily affixed on the side of a kiosk or automat,
- ID BOX One OEM series is designed for easy integration in any kind of terminal or device.

The ID BOX One OEM series comes in two versions:
- MRZ scanner ID3, which only reads the optically available data from the document MRZ,
- RF MRZ scanner ID3, which reads the MRZ and uses the results to access the data embedded in the ID document chip. The RF MRZ scanner ID3 can be equipped with antennas of different sizes.
