the only brand of headphones to ever touch my ears is Puro Sound.
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) May 07, 2016
Puro Sound Labs, makers of the Healthy Ear Headphone, has signed National Physique Committee athlete, and grandma, Lola Nez as a brand ambassador for their flagship line of headphones.
Lola who immigrated to the United States six years ago from the Philippines, is a two time champion on National Physique Committee (NPC) tour. She gained notoriety in 2015 when she won both the NPC Branch Warren Championship and the NPC Battle of Champions in her first full year of competition.
It is her personal story, though, that attracted many followers. At 44 Lola was a grandmother, an immigrant in an unfamiliar country, and had recently lost her brother to cancer. According to Lola, at this point she decided to take her life and health into her own hands. She transformed her body in just a few months, started competing with the NPC, and is now one of its most popular athletes.
Along the way, Lola also became one of the first to purchase Puro Sound Labs’ healthy headphones when they launched last year. A headphone that protected the listener’s ears resonated with the health conscience Lola.
"As a athlete, I am completely committed to living a healthy lifestyle and taking the utmost care of my body,” said Lola. “This commitment extends to protecting my hearing and this is why the only brand of headphones to ever touch my ears is Puro Sound."
For Puro, signing Lola allows them to meld two of their primary demographics, the health conscience and families.
“Lola is an exceptional athlete and is a true American-dream story, having gone through so much to immigrate to this country and succeed,” said Puro Sound Labs CEO Brett Lacey. “As a grandmother and an athlete she personifies the family company that we are and the modern technology that we want protecting ears across the country and globally.”
To celebrate teaming up with one of the world’s most fit mother and grandmother, Puro Sound Labs is offering 15% off all products for Mother’s Day with the code MOM15.
About Puro Sound Labs:
Puro Sound Labs is a San Diego based headphone startup making and marketing headphones that put the safety of listener’s ears first. The company was born in 2014 when founder, Dave Russell, learned that his youngest daughter had been diagnosed with Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), and her headphones were the culprit. After months of research and development Puro Sound Labs released their ear-safe volume-limiting kid’s version in late 2014 and has since released an adult version that monitors volume and communicates safe sound levels with the listener. Puro is dedicated to eliminating NIHL without sacrificing sound quality or style. http://www.purosound.com
