Contoural Selected As Sponsor of ACC Information Governance Committee
Los Altos, CA (PRWEB) May 09, 2016 -- Contoural, the largest independent provider of Information Governance consulting services, announced that it was selected as a sponsor for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s newly formed Information Governance Committee.
The Association of Corporate Counsel, a global bar association with more than 33,000 members in 85 countries and employed by over 10,000 organizations, promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations, and other private-sector organizations.
The primary purpose of the ACC Information Governance (IG) Committee is to provide in-house counsel with a forum for discussing, collaborating, and addressing common IG challenges that impact most corporations, educate in-house counsel about the changing nature of how information and data are used within an organization, and identify the risks, cross-functional challenges, costs, legal responsibilities and opportunities this represents.
“Contoural will be providing resources and delivering education designed to meet the needs of our in-house lawyers and committee members in Information Governance,” said Shawn Cheadle, Information Governance Committee Chair. “We very much look forward to their participation.”
“It is an honor to be selected as a sponsor of this committee,” said Mark Diamond, President & CEO of Contoural. “We look forward to collaborating closely with the committee and ACC members.”
As a sponsor, Contoural will be providing materials to ACC members such as Quick Hits, Webinars, a Quick Counsel, a Top Ten, Sample Forms, and an InfoPAK leading up to the Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA.
