Peachjar is committed to helping school districts ensure parents stay informed about important activities and events that enrich the lives of children. In an effort to improve parent and community engagement, Rockford School District 205 is now using Peachjar to send digital flyer directly to parents.
“We are excited about Peachjar and pleased with how it is being received by our schools and families,” stated Earl Dotson, Jr., chief of communications and community engagement for Rockford School District 205. "This green initiative not only helps our environment but is also an efficient tool to help deliver information to our parents, staff and students.”
In just one month, Rockford School District 205 has eliminated the need to print over 500,000 sheets of paper, saving 60 trees. Additionally, the school district no longer incurs the administrative burden and costs associated with paper flyer distribution.
Peachjar was founded in 2011 in response to the billions of paper flyers being carried home from schools each year in children’s backpacks. The company has helped thousands of schools across the nation improve their school-to-home communication by delivering eflyers directly to parents.
