Integration Makes it Simple to Enter Adyen Account Credentials into 3scale Platform For Frictionless API Monetization Across Continents and Payment Methods

This integration makes 3scale even more attractive to API providers already using Adyen, as well as API providers looking for a payment platform to handle high transaction volumes across the globe

3scale, the leading API Management Platform for API providers, today announced that it has integrated Adyen’s popular payment service into its API management platform, making it easier for even more companies to monetize their APIs. With Adyen’s rapid growth and use by large enterprises that have significant amounts of monthly transactions, in addition to those that deal with different regulations and payment types at an international level, the integration simplifies the API payment process. The feature is available to all API providers on 3scale plans that include billing/monetization (Power, Pro and Enterprise).

The addition of Adyen to 3scale’s portfolio of payment gateway integrations makes it even easier to manage and monetize large volumes of API transactions across continents, and payment methods. Adyen is the perfect fit for accepting transactions via different continents and payment types.

“This integration makes 3scale even more attractive to API providers already using Adyen, as well as API providers looking for a payment platform to handle high transaction volumes across the globe,” said Steve Willmott, CEO of 3scale. “At 3scale, we know that accepting and managing payments can be complicated for large organizations that do business internationally. Adyen delivers a frictionless payment platform for global businesses to deal with online, mobile and in-store transactions painlessly.”

Being able to use Adyen seamlessly with 3Scale has streamlined customer SITA’s Developer.aero monetization process. Adyen was selected by Developer.aero's sister product, Marketplace.aero as its payment gateway, ensuring consistency between SITA's newest e-commerce solutions and backend finance systems. “3Scale's integration with Adyen allowed us to more quickly release Developer.aero's billing components, saving us the cost of performing the integration,” said Manraj Sabarwal, product manager of Developer.aero.com with SITA . “This has enabled us to expand our business case, allowing us to create APIs as products and monetize them.”

This Adyen payment gateway integration offering joins previously announced Stripe, Braintree, ogone, and Authorize.Net options.
