Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association Proudly Announces The Give Blood, Give Sweat, Give Cheer Fitness and Family Fun Festival On Sunday May 22nd with Pat Croce
Newtown Square, PA (PRWEB) May 06, 2016 -- The Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association officially announces its’ inaugural charity event, The Give Blood, Give Sweat, Give Cheer Festival to be held at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial at 4599 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square PA from 9am to 3pm, with all net proceeds going to operations and education of the Memorial.
The festival will consist of numerous activities for all ages including a Blood Drive organized by The Red Cross, fitness inspired activities such as a 3 mile Green Beret Challenge, 5k trail run and a Yoga Session with Jennifer Schelter, accompanied by songwriter and chant artist Yvette Om. Fitness pioneer Pat Croce is a featured guest that will be in participation as well. Live music from Brian McConnell accompanied by Deejay Howard will entertain crowds throughout the day as patrons also enjoy access to a Kids Zone with bounce houses, games and exercise activities, food trucks and retail vendors as well as a beer garden.
“We really wanted to do something to draw awareness to this world class memorial, while also bringing the community together,” stated Michael Holloway, board member of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association. “The festival will highlight the dedication and sacrifice of all of our local military, past and present, in a fun and fitness inspired atmosphere. Families can enjoy an entire day of fun activities, all the while helping this local embodiment of our American Armed Forces and our local military heroes,” finished Holloway.

Afterwards patrons can enjoy the entire spectrum of the festival, and also cheer on their loved ones in the fitness events,” finished Robinson.
