Stefanina’s Pizzeria is a local favorite in the St. Louis marketplace with multiple locations spread across the area. They had previously launched an online ordering system with limited success, likely due to a relatively limited customer-facing interface and an order notification system that required the operator to constantly monitor email to receive incoming orders. Working with Priority Payment Systems and e|tab, Stefanina’s was able to use a web and mobile-friendly ordering solution that ties directly into their existing website for easy access to online ordering and provides a multi-location finder service that gives their customers the ability to find a store using their current geolocation or to enter a specific address. This allowed for orders to be remotely, prior to pick-up.

Priority Payment Systems and e|tab also worked with Stefanina’s to create a customized module designed specifically for pizzeria menu complexities and a la carte options. This included the ability to simply and easily order “half and half” or split-order toppings and provide “buy one get one” or other combination specials. What’s more, the e|tab solution eliminated the need for employees to check for orders, because the e|tab Order Management System (accessed via an iOS tablet) sends out an audible order alert, while text alerts are simultaneously routed to shift managers for practical redundancy and orders are printed directly to the kitchen via Stefanina’s existing printer network.

In addition to the 400% upswing in their online ordering business, e|tab has also dramatically cut down on phone time for Stefanina’s front-of-house staff and reduced errors and customer complaints about miskeyed or incorrectly prepared food. The e|tab system has now been deployed across all Stefanina’s locations and e|tab’s line–busting kiosk solution is expected to help ease the burden on the front-of-house staff for walk–in orders as well as lunch or dinner rushes.
