Salamone & Associates, P.C. announces TeamSalamone’s participation in the goldRush Rally, the premier U.S. road rally and an internationally renowned event. This year’s race sets off from Boston on May 13, with stops in Washington, D.C.; Charlotte, North Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Las Vegas, Nevada until arriving at the finish line in Los Angeles on May 21.
For the third consecutive year, Team Salamone leads the rally with car number 1, and this year that car is a brand-new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster. The flagship of the Lamborghini line, it was delivered to Salamone on April 28, 2016 — a date that marked the 100th anniversary of Ferruccio Elio Arturo Lamborghini’s birth. The team’s primary fundraising campaign for the rally will once again benefit the Sisters of St. Francis, a group committed to ending human trafficking in Zambia, Africa, and improving its citizens’ quality of life.
The rally has become known for the past eight years as not only a premier automotive event but also an internationally celebrated one for its prominent attendees and significant fundraising. Those organizations who have benefitted include the Wounded Warrior Project, various children’s cancer charities, and the Taylor Lynn Foundation, which teams with the rally to provide microgrants that give children in need the ability to participate in activities that they could not participate in otherwise.
