The new 3Seventy platform allows retailers and restaurants to run text-in coupon campaigns without any integration to a POS or E-Commerce system. Here’s how it works:
· Customers opt in to receive a coupon by texting a keyword to a short code and getting a text message back that confirms their permission to join the program. The keyword can publicized through social media as well as in store displays.
· A single use SMS text coupon link is generated and sent to end user which prevents reposting of coupons.
· The link takes them to a branded and customizable webpage that has a “redeem” button. The customer shows the text at the register to get your special offer. The person at the register clicks the redeem button and the link and coupon are no longer valid after redemption.
