REMODELING Announces the Big50 Class of 2016
WASHINGTON, D.C. Presented each year since 1986, the recognition honors remodelers who have set exceptionally high standards for professionalism and integrity through exemplary business practices, craftsmanship, and impact in their community or the industry at large.
“America has close to 83,000 remodeling companies with payrolls,144,000 specialty trade remodeling firms with payroll, and hundreds of thousands more individuals who are sole employees of their remodeling firms,” noted Craig Webb, editor-in-chief of REMODELING. “The 50 firms that we’re honoring this year as being at the top of the game represent just 0.02% of all remodeling and specialty contracting firms with payrolls. So it is a rare distinction to reach Big50 status.”
The Big50 selection process has become increasingly rigorous in recent years, and the result, REMODELING editors believe, is one of the strongest classes to date. The editors noted that the 2016 inductees all share high standards and a determination to excel—taking the opportunity to build efficiencies into their systems and processes—ensuring that they are posed to meet their sales, production, and customer-service goals and continue to thrive.
