Mark McKinney joins Bottle Rocket as Vice President of Client Development

Bottle Rocket, a leading mobile strategy, design and development company, recently welcomed Mark McKinney to its leadership team.
Mark McKinney joined Bottle Rocket to head the client development team, which serves both new and existing business, including Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Coca-Cola, Mary Kay and more. McKinney is a digital marketing veteran, having been the Managing Director of Tribal DDB in Dallas, the Chief Strategy Officer of MEplusYOU, and the VP of Digital Innovation for TM Advertising.

When asked about his goals, Mark said, “I am thrilled to be part of Bottle Rocket, a company that enjoys a well-deserved reputation for doing quality work. I look forward to introducing Bottle Rocket and the Rocketeers to many more clients who can benefit from their unique skills.”

McKinney is also the author of My Client is the Devil (And Other Myths), where he encourages Account Services personnel to remain psychologically hardy while engaging in assertive and mutually beneficial relationships with clients. He has his PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.

This hire comes just month’s after Bottle Rocket announced that its user experience leadership team has expanded with the recent additions of John Canevari and Renee McKeon Rives as executive creative directors (ECDs). Canevari and Rives join Michael Griffith, VP of User Experience, and his team of talented senior strategists to build the world’s most advanced and compelling mobile brand experiences.
