Kinetiq, a new division of Quorum Review IRB with a focus on providing consulting and IT services, is thrilled to attend the DIA China 8th Annual Meeting in Beijing from May 15–18, 2016.

Kinetiq leadership will be at booth H05 to discuss how Kinetiq can serve the international community. Quorum representatives also will be in attendance. “Kinetiq provides consulting and technical solutions that can move clinical research forward around the world,” says VP of Legal Affairs Mitchell Parrish, “And we look forward to sharing ideas with our colleagues in China and Asia”.

In addition to participating at DIA China, Quorum and Kinetiq representatives have been invited to visit Peking University to exchange insights about the functions of an IRB in the clinical trials field. “We are honored to meet with members of the ethics committee of the Peking University Health Science Center,” says Quorum CEO Cami Gearhart. “This is the premier health care center and medical school of China, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our experiences over 25 years as a central IRB dedicated to advancing the integrity of ethics review.”

Peking University Health Science Center—attached to Peking University—is one of the most select and respected medical schools in China and is affiliated with 14 hospitals in the Beijing Metropolitan Area. It is one of the top medical schools in the country. It is both a historical pioneer and a modern leader in medical education in mainland China. An alternative name for the medical school is Beijing Medical University. Peking University was first established in 1898 and was the first modern national university in China.
