Sutra Healing announces the launch an International Healing Movement with an inaugural talk presented by Dr. Virender Sodhi.
Dr. Sodhi was the very first Ayurvedic and Naturopathic physician in the United States. After earning his medical degree in Jalandar, India he was selected by the Indian government to share Ayurveda with Western society.
Once in the United States, Dr. Sodhi enrolled at Bastyr University, a nationally recognized school of natural medicine where he received his N.D. and was subsequently invited to join the faculty teaching Ayurvedic sciences. In 2012 he completed his fellowship in Integrative Oncology.
Dr. Sodhi is currently a visiting professor at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, and at Des Moines University.
Dr. Sodhi has served on the Panel of Experts with Dr. Andrew Weil for Natural Health magazine, and has been featured in the Ask the Experts column many times. He is the most quoted naturopathic physician in the reference book Alternative Medicine: the Definitive Guide, and is featured in The Textbook of Natural Medicine. He also served as the Appointed Advisor for Natural Products to the government of Australia.
Dr. Sodhi enjoys educating the general public about how to harness the healing power provided to us by nature. He makes ancient healing traditions simple to incorporate in today's busy world.
