Chapter House Sober Living Recruits Chief Operating Officer as Organization Continues to Grow
Richardson, Texas (PRWEB) May 16, 2016 -- Dallas based Chapter House Sober Living, one of the fastest growing extended care programs for young adult men with addiction, announces that Tucson native Jeff Gould has been hired as the Chief Operating Officer. The role was created to provide an additional layer of stability to the program, staff and to embody the company's mission of bringing people together through the miracle of the 12 steps as practiced in a safe and structured transitional setting.
Gould is a seasoned veteran in the field of addiction treatment, with 12 years of experience working with drug addicts and alcoholics. His experience includes overseeing and managing an eight-bed program for war veterans with combat fatigue and becoming special projects manager at In-Balance, one of the largest therapeutic boarding schools for young men in the country.
Being in recovery himself, Gould has spoken nationally and internationally at workshops and symposiums on his personal experience with addiction and alcoholism. Gould has also worked on global disaster efforts, including doing strenuous work alongside the Army Corp of Engineers after tornadoes struck Tuscaloosa and helping rebuild in the city of New Orleans. Gould’s dedication to helping those less fortunate led him to begin a homeless outreach in Tucson called ‘Meal Team 6’.
As the chief operating officer, Gould will assist with developing operational systems to support Chapter House as it continues to grow in capacity and alumni presence. Additionally, Gould will be developing emerging life development curriculum, 12-step facilitation protocols and expand the family services offered by Chapter House Sober Living.
“I am excited about the opportunity to serve an important role at an established sober living program such as Chapter House. Looking forward to see how my experience can help shape and grow the organization.”
