It's all about taking control.

Sometimes taking control means letting go and giving in to the unknown.

Single mother, Mary Tyler, understands that not all women feel like they’re in control of their own lives and offers an example of gaining power, by letting go, in her new book. “Mercy Me” is an erotic mystery, showing one woman’s decision to let go of her inhibitions and take control.

“Like many of us, Jessie is afraid to step out of the shadows and take what she wants,” Tyler said. “She gets held back by insecurity and fear.”

Helping to combat these negative feelings, Tyler empowers real women every day. An assistant manager at a national bank, she teaches seminars at colleges and women’s groups, about understanding credit and financial planning.

“Only when a woman can manage her own finances can she be truly independent,” Tyler said. “It’s all about taking control.”
