"Behind the Scenes" with Host James Earl Jones Explores the Driving Forces Behind Vehicle Safety for Public Television
(PRWEB) May 15, 2016 -- "Behind the Scenes" with James Earl Jones gives viewers an inside look at what goes into making vehicles safer, and how recent innovations are helping make the roads safer for everyone. Vehicle safety is more important than you may realize, and goes beyond the features of your car. Motor-vehicle crashes accounted for 32,675 deaths in America in 2014[1], and it's still the number one cause of death for teenagers[2].
In this episode of the short-form documentary series, James Earl Jones will show you how new technology is being implemented in vehicle design that helps stop crashes before they even happen. The most common cause of vehicle crashes is still human error, and these new technological advances that vehicle manufacturers implement strive to mitigate those errors. Even as the industry marches forward toward a self-driving car, for now the human driver remains at the center of vehicle safety.
"Behind the Scenes" is produced solely for distribution on public television stations throughout the country, and is filmed in high definition. It is not released or produced by PBS.
