Moving Story of One Military Family Drives Record-Setting Fundraiser to Help Thousands

WHITE64 worked with the PenFed Foundation to support the 2016 Night of Heroes Gala on May 11th. The gala honored our nation defenders, and raised over $1.25 million to help these heroes and their families through their own financial planning.

The PenFed Foundation's Night of Heroes Gala is their most important fundraiser of the year — a tribute to our nation's defenders attended by over 600 military, corporate, and industry leaders. It raises money to help service members and their families manage hard financial times, build credit, and realize their dreams of home ownership. This year, WHITE64 partnered with the Foundation to produce the inspirational videos shown during the event.

The evening's highlight was the presentation of the Hero at Home award, which honors the resilient spirit of a wounded veteran caregiver. This year, the Foundation honored Ms. Julie Keys, the mother of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Adam Keys, who was critically wounded in Afghanistan in 2010.

Staff Sgt. Keys underwent more than 130 surgical procedures that left him a triple amputee. During the recovery process and to this day, Ms. Keys has been his strongest support and fiercest advocate.

WHITE64's video proves just how important it is for our nation's defenders to have someone in their corner. Attendees responded, raising a record $1.25 million for the cause and helping to make a difference in the lives of thousands of veterans and their families.
