InfoSystems Partners with UK Technology Pioneer, APSU, to Expand Service Offerings
(PRWEB) May 18, 2016 -- InfoSystems, Inc. and APSU just announced a strategic alliance to both enhance APSU’s position as a world-class managed services provider and propel InfoSystems further into the North American market. This news follows APSU’s announcement earlier this year of its expansion into the US by first establishing its APSU Incorporated headquarters in Nashville, TN.
The new partnership is expected to leverage APSU’s people, technology, and processes combined with InfoSystems’ expertise in IBM servers and storage. “We are thrilled to combine our experience with APSU’s innovation,” President and CEO Clay Hales said. “Basically, they will be the engine within InfoSystems’ managed services offering. As the highest accredited business partner in Europe and elite in their channel, they have a lot to offer and we are ecstatic to partner with them.”
APSU secured funding for its international expansion in 2014 when it received an investment of £7 million ($11.2 million) from BGF (Business Growth Fund), an independent company established to help Britain’s growing businesses. Since then, a North American push has been at the forefront of its growth plans.
“The partnership between APSU and InfoSystems for managed services, particularly in the IBM Power i space, is groundbreaking. We know this market is under-served,” APSU North America Director Nathan Smith said. “We can’t think of a partner more ideally suited to provide APSU’s level of service than InfoSystems.”
APSU’s and InfoSystems’ histories have many parallels, including a long-standing heritage in IBM’s Power i servers, formerly known as the iSeries or AS/400. Both companies are IBM Premier Business Partners, and both are members of IBM’s exclusive Global Business Partner Advisory Council. APSU and InfoSystems also share extensive experience in providing solutions through Cisco, Microsoft, HP, and VMware.

About InfoSystems, Inc.
InfoSystems began in 1994 as a regional office products firm under CEO Clay Hales. In 2000, Hales transformed his company by becoming an IBM business partner offering enterprise infrastructure and software in a burgeoning market. InfoSystems was founded on investments in IBM technical skills that by today’s standards are exceptionally rare. Named on CRN’s Solution Provider 500 list and on CRN’s Tech Elite 250 list multiple times, Hales prefers the accolades of his loyal customers. And in 2015 the company saw record growth and record sales, further validating its popularity in the marketplace.
