Speaking Wednesday, May 18, Gilbert will be addressing the privacy and cybersecurity-related legal issues that companies may face in their use of big data. Among other issues, Gilbert will discuss the main elements of the recent Federal Trade Commission's Report on Big Data, which was published earlier this year.

Gilbert, a shareholder in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, focuses her practice and research on U.S. and global data privacy and security in a wide variety of markets, including, among others, internet, cloud computing, big data, connected devices, sensors, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.
