Chapman is the former Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Deputy Assistant Secretary, as well as former acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She brings a broad background in management and technology in both the public and private sectors. As a health information technology expert, Chapman has been responsible for implementing complex technical solutions for a wide range of clients in the health arena, including the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Department of Defense (DoD).
“Melissa is a key addition to Triple-i,” said Gina Wolery, Executive Vice President, Solutions and Growth. “Her leadership skills and experience delivering mission IT will strengthen and diversify our health IT practice,” added Wolery.
At Triple-i, Chapman will be responsible for leading the HHS growth strategy and providing subject matter and technical guidance.
