Android app Punned it with pals was launched recently on Kickstarter. It is an interactive punning platform for punsters, word nerds, and word play enthusiasts. It allows you to compete with other players by submitting a topic or an image to pun. There is also a pun riddle section for submitting or solving puns in the form of a riddle. In a nutshell, it’s a pun lover’s dream come true.
It's no coincidence that the world's first interactive punning platform app's crowdfunding campaign was launched on the ‘punniest' date of the year "(May the forth...be with me)". The App "Punned it with pals" creator Dana Sparks was quoted as saying: "It is FUNDamental to the Kickstarter campaign, I would be remiss not to take advantage it."
The campaign's promotional video is done in a "50's black & white educational film style" and contains 20 puns in 3 minutes. The video is worth investigating for entertainment value. The app packs some exciting modes where users can play sophisticated game modes like The “Punitentary", where punsters can be sent for party fouls. Punsters must get bailed out to get back into the game. Visual puns appear throughout the interface, such as the "Leaderbored" (for posting scores), and music "note" (for taking notes). "Punblished," a novelty book, will be compiled annually and will feature content from "Punned it with pals." All puns and pun threads will be considered.You may see your puns in print!
