Business Jets is currently developing a fully native mobile version of their website
Great Britain (PRWEB UK) 19 May 2016 -- Five months after releasing a major update on their website, Business Jets moved to mobile. The Kiev-based business aviation company has performed a total make over of their website to make it suitable for mobile clients. It has been thought and developed exclusively for smartphone and tablet users and is due to be launched by the end of May.
A behavioral analysis has been made by Business Jet’s leading traffic manager: more than 50 % of BJ’s website visitors are using mobile devices. Thus, the company decided to build a native mobile version of their existing website. Thanks to its strong experience in UX/UI and backed by the sales department, Business Jets' IT team developed a new mobile experience for users.
The mobile version has been created first and foremost for the user. The interface has been polished and reduced to the bare necessities. Developers and designers took great care of the “Request Form”, namely the part where you ask for a flight. It has been re-thought from scratch. After many months of team work, the team has come to a good compromise between ergonomics and design.
Due to limited space on the screen, some items have been displaced. The screen display has also been optimized, leading to a more pleasant experience. The request form is truly adapted to a smartphone or tablet screen. There is no need to pinch the screen to reach a far-off tiny field for example.
The major update has been launched in the beginning of the 2016 high season. From then on, developers and designers will carry on their work to ensure the user the most pleasant experience when requesting an aircraft. In the future, work will revolve around adding an aircraft catalog and smoothing out the quotations layout, which should be sent to the client.
Business Jets is a Kyiv-based company, but operates worldwide. Though the company’s main focus is charter flights, Business Jets provides their clients a wide range of services. Business Jets are currently providing charter flights, sales & acquisitions, aircraft management and leasing solutions.
