Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea Celebrates Global Wellness Day, June 11, 2016
Wailea, Maui Hawaii (PRWEB) May 18, 2016 -- Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea will again participate in Global Wellness Day this year on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Maui’s most acclaimed five-star Resort supports the international day dedicated to living well, sharing in their mantra that “one day can change your whole life.” As such, Four Seasons Resort Maui will offer a variety of wellness services including fitness, spa, food and beverage initiatives on this special day that issues a global reminder of the importance of living well.
Senior Spa Director Pat Makozak, based on Maui and who oversees eight spas in the region, is excited to invite guests and the local Maui community to experience wellness through a schedule of inspiring events. “Four Seasons Resort Maui is a leading destination for guests seeking exposure to the latest ways to incorporate health and wellness into daily living,” says Makozak. “Global Wellness Day is the perfect platform to do what we do best, and it gives us great pleasure to extend an invitation to celebrate to our local community.”
The day will commence with a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga Class off the shores of Wailea Beach at 7:00am, followed by Morning Yoga at 8:30am. Both classes are complimentary. Following the community yoga classes, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, the Resort’s award-winning culinary team continues the day’s festivities as they present a Global Wellness Day pop-up restaurant featuring a juice bar, healthy cocktail class, action cooking station showcasing an all-vegan menu and complimentary fresh coconuts. Nearby, shoppers will enjoy a designer trunk show featuring a sun-protection sportswear line perfect for swimming, golf, tennis, running and more.
Other wellness initiatives offered by the Resort for guests that day include meditation; spin, aqua-cardio fusion and core-on-the-ball classes; plus the Resort’s signature Wellness Your Way dining menus at all of the Resort’s dining outlets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
