Enterprise Mobility Leader Adds Leadership Strength for Continued Growth

Capriza, a leader in enterprise mobility for business applications, today announced that it has appointed enterprise software veteran Lance Walter as CMO. Mr. Walter joins the company at a time of tremendous growth as enterprises recognize the opportunity to accelerate revenue and reduce operational drag by mobile-enabling critical business workflows.

Capriza is coming off of an amazing 2015 in which the company more than tripled its installed base, building an impressive customer list of multi-billion-dollar industry leaders like Allscripts, Amtrak, Del Monte Foods, Flex, The Linde Group, and others. Capriza offers a unique technology solution that turns existing enterprise business processes into simple, personalized, and contextual mobile applications with no coding, no additional infrastructure, and no application upgrades required. Capriza leverages a company’s existing enterprise business applications so that process definitions and security are automatically inherited.

Enterprise mobility is a hot topic, with International Data Corporation (IDC) predicting that enterprise mobile applications will quadruple by 2018 . Forrester predicts that in 2017, businesses will spend $189 billion to reengineer platforms and processes for mobile engagement . Capriza helps organizations to mobilize their enterprise applications quickly, and with no disruption to existing systems.

As Capriza’s CMO, Lance Walter will be responsible for Capriza’s market development and demand strategy. He has more than two decades of experience in technical and marketing roles. Prior to Capriza, Mr. Walter led the marketing efforts of successful startups including Aria Systems, Datameer, Host Analytics, and Pentaho. Earlier in his career, Mr. Walter worked at established enterprise software category leaders including Business Objects, Oracle, and Siebel Systems.

“We’re extremely pleased to add Lance Walter to the Capriza executive team,” said Yuval Scarlat, CEO at Capriza. “We’re seeing broad mainstream adoption of Capriza’s enterprise mobility platform and Lance’s experience at fast-growing startups in marketing to C-level executives will help us tremendously as we grow the company.”
